Stepping Stones

Stepping StonesWe would like to thank Peggy Kreimer for her fascinating presentation on Sunday, April 29, 2018, on the history and purpose of one of our nearby neighbors, 'Stepping Stones'.

We learned that the original property was called “Fresh Air Farm” and was a gift of Cincinnati philanthropist, Mary Emery. Its mission was to provide “indigent women and children a respite from their daily life.” Today, Stepping Stones is a United Way partner agency providing year-round services for children, teens, and adults with a wide variety of disabilities including autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, seizure disorders and physical and behavioral disorders. There are programs for people age five to 65-plus years.
