Council report - the topic that generated the most interest was the possible sale of the athletic field for building lots by the Mariemont District School Board, Evelyn Peery brought a petition to Council asking that plans for the village green be postponed for further consideration by the community, patrolman Dennis Goebel will leave the village, Robert Biddle raised to the status of permanent patrolman-recruit, ordinance was passed to purchase a new cruiser, two more storm sewers will be constructed this spring to alleviate water accumulation in low areas, service employees to have a wage increase and a third maintenance man will be needed when Alan Baldwin goes into the hospital, 7 mill levy expires so new levy will have to be put on in November, passage of the cable ordinance deferred
