Council report - request for folding tables and chairs for $2,100 was passed for the Community Building, it was recommended that the Village Green be renovated and that a committee be set up to investigate the best use of the Wildlife Preserve and Bird Sanctuary, requested that trash cans not be put at the curb more than 48 hours prior to pick-up and that the landfill should be locked at all times and residents pay a fee for a permit to dump their trash, Council approved an ordinance to employ former Mayor Carl Lindell as Village Engineer, Dennis Goebel was appointed Patrolman, approved an ordinance prohibiting drugs, resolution passed recognizing George Eveland, Jr. and Tom Eveland for their quick action reporting the Rawnsley's fire, it was moved to rescind the Village ordinance on driving while intoxicated so the Major can prosecute drunk drivers under the stiffer state law, request for $1,500 for a used truck with a snow plow and salter was passed, resolution passed to advertise for bids for the sale of the house Terrace Park owns on Wooster Pike, Mayor Corbin brought up Mr. Tedeschi's petition for putting the old flower shop next to the Sohio station under a Planned Area Development to facilitate the sale
