Robert F. Bevis, Deputy Director of Division 8 of the Highway Dept. announced, unofficially, that the President's Council on Environmental Quality had rejected the highway, Relocated 50 plans but the information cannot be verified but if the project is not stopped the Sierra Club is prepared to take the question to court if the Highway Dept. persists
the L.M.I. discussed the latest developments of the Relocated 50 at their November 2nd meeting and they discussed the in-stream gravel operation west of Terrace Park who had some violations of the zoning permit
Garden Club house tour to be held December 12 with houses toured at 115 Red Bird Lane, 103 Michigan Ave., 808 Yale Ave., 912 Stanton Ave. and 702 Floral Ave.
